Development

While the success of the SMART program can best be attributed to the motivation, perseverance and hard work of its students, the program would not be possible without the financial support of those who firmly believe in the value of providing low-income students with a quality education.

The SMART program is fortunate to receive funding from corporations, foundations, individual donors and its annual spring celebration and silent auction.

SMART is honored to count these corporations and foundations as a contributor to our program.

While foundations provide up to 20% of SMART's financial support, it is the commitment of individual donors that is critical to the success of SMART's fundraising efforts. Individual donors may contribute to SMART in a variety of ways:

Cash: Checks made payable to SMART may be mailed to SMART, 1370 Mission Street 2nd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103.

Stock: Donors wishing to contribute shares of stock should contact Bill Fricker at the SMART office, (415) 865-5400 or please email him.

On-line: Donations may also be made on-line by clicking the "Donate now" button on the SMART home page or click here.

In addition to gifts from individual donors, foundations and corporations, SMART relies on the generosity of its partner schools in providing generous tuition aid for each of its students. By working together, SMART is able to provide its students with a quality education, mentoring, tutoring, summer and after-school programs for an annual investment of $10,000 per student.

Please take this opportunity to join our partner schools, foundations, corporations and committed SMART donors in making a contribution to SMART. Simply click the "Donate now" button. Thank you.
